My family and I are enjoying a wonderful week in Paradise– Kauai, Hawaii to be exact. But like any other time we are away from home, we sure miss our pets. Thankfully we have a good friend that is home and pet sitting for us. We have two dogs, Charlotte and Maggie, shown below wishing real hard that they were here with us running around on the beach.
Our larger dog, Maggie, a Labrador Retreiver, sleeps just about anywhere she drops, but our little dog, Charlotte, a rescue pup, is much more persnickety. I wrote a post over at SC Johnson Family Economics about creating simple beds for smaller pets. There are so many wonderful DIY ideas for cat and dog beds shared on Pinterest and throughout the internet.
