Here’s wishing a very Happy Birthday to Mr. Wonderful and his twin sister Heidi! 45 looks great on you both!
Next week I will not only be gone on vacation, but no where even close to WIFI. We will be camping at Lake Pillsbury, Ca. I can’t possibly leave my blog unattended, so I am planning just a bit ahead by asking you, my readers, to share one of your favorite go-to blogs.
I’ll be reading all of the comments to this post with your suggestion for a featured blog. Leave me a link to a GREAT blog and please write just a bit about it and why you like to visit it. Uniqueness counts! Once I’ve visited all the GREAT blogs I will arrange for my choices from those entered to post each day next week along with a link to your blog (if you have one and your submission is chosen), so please leave that info as well.
By now it’s probably pretty clear how much I love spray paint. It’s the instant extreme makeover in a can. I’m also a little nuts for any type of cabinet with drawers, and if they have ID card holder hardware attached, I can never resist.
I have a few old watch part cabinets that hold my small craft supplies and found another one at the Alameda Flea Market last weekend for $15. I painted this piece with Rust-oleum American Accents Seaside Green Satin ($3.50), then scuffed just a bit with sandpaper around the edges when dry. I lined the drawers by laying a folded sheet of large ledger paper in them. Here’s the 1/2 hour project before & after!
