Scrap Retreat Sponsor Swag Giveaway: DAY 5 – ENTER!

The wait is over…it’s Friday, DAY 5 of the Spectacular Sponsor Giveaway and this is the final post. You can find all of the fun that is being included in the giant 3-bag giveaway by visiting this week’s posts: Day 1, Day2, Day 3 and Day 4. All underlined product text is what will be included in the bags.

But I’m going to start today’s post with something that is NOT in the swag bag or giveaway but an awesome, related product I just have to share. It’s the OttLite Craft Caddy sent for use at the retreat by OttLite, one for me and one for our retreat organizer, Lori. You have probably heard of OttLite, possibly even own one if you craft, scrap or quilt. They have an extensive line of eco-friendly lighting and lamps in many different styles and designs for a multitude of purposes. The Craft Caddy is so great for taking along from room to room, as the lamp folds down into the base, the handle comes up and you can carry it around like a trug with your tools and what-nots in the compartments. The weather was dismal and stormy during our retreat last weekend, so lighting was at a premium and OttLite was a star.

Thank you OttLite!

……………………. EX LIBRIS ANONYMOUS …………………….

Jacob Deatherage is one of my favorite craft show peeps. I can always count on finding him at the Renegade Craft Fair in San Francisco when I go. He has been so kind as to share his awesome and funky book journals with my readers in the past HERE and HERE.Ex Libris Book Journals are filled with about 75 sheets of smooth, acid free, BLANK paper for journaling and sketching paper. Inside the front cover and throughout every book he retains any beautiful cover pages, illustrations, library cards, maps, or inscriptions found in the book. The journals are all bound with a black plastic spiral. And, as you will find by playing on the Ex Libris Anonymous website (which you will have a very hard time leaving,) his book title range is enormous. It was so fun watching the retreat gals discover their book journals and how much they enjoyed them. There will be one Ex Libris Book Journal in each of the giveaway bags! Be sure to LIKE Ex Libris on Facebook to see all the fun posts by Jacob of the discarded books he finds and the wacky things he finds in them!

Thank you Jacob at Ex Libris Anonymous!

……………………. BULLFROG GRAPHICS …………………….

Did you notice the beautiful wooden, engraved hang tags on the swag bags? Those were custom made by Rob Sandall of Bullfrog Graphics.Rob is the secret source behind my CatheHolden.com promotional rulers, which by the way, I’ve tucked into the bags as well.Bullfrog Graphics takes your designs to a completely different level than ever before. If you can think it he can probably engrave it. I love his 6-pack caddies, cool for gifts but even cooler for schlepping craft tools in style. His laser engraving is so beautifully done and he offers many different surfaces and products, including engraved wedding invitations and really cool rubber stamps.I emailed Rob my tag design file and he shipped me treasures.I used my ScrapPerfect Perfect Crafting Pouch, as featured in yesterday’s post, to keep my fine-point Sharpie pen ink from feathering when writing my name and others on the wooden tags.Thank you Rob at Bullfrog Graphics!

……………………. LOVA REVOLUTIONARY …………………….I first discovered Lova Revolutionary product as featured felt artist for  The Kunin Group at CHA in January. Jodie of Lova Revolutionary has the sweetest style of art and design and incorporates that so beautifully into her creations. I ADORE her Owl iPod cases!!I was thrilled to learn that she also sells her creations as scrapbook embellishments and was willing to send samples of her Eco Felt Flower Embellishment Scrapbooking Appliques for all the swag bags! Yay! I LOVE handmade!!Retreat scrapper, Laura, embellished a mother-daughter layout with hers. Too sweet.Thank you Jodie of Lova Revolutionary!

……………………. NORTHRIDGE PUBLISHING …………………….

I am so happy to have bumped into someone from Northridge Publishing at CHA and that they would offer to share their incredible publications in the sponsor swag bags. Northridge Publishing is devoted to producing publications of the highest quality and value. Their goal is to provide inspiration, support and resources to crafters everywhere in their efforts to capture special moments and create art.

I sort of want to refer to their publications as magazines, but the truth is, they are much more like softbound beautifully inspiring books covering everything from stamping and scrapping to beads, cards and handmade. Gorgeous photography of all project shared- there’s a publication subject for everyone and they are a sweet-petite size you can tuck in most any bag for taking with you.

They also offer back order issues and scrapbook kits as well- and can you believe they even have Family Movies? Darling! The gals at the retreat did a bit of swapping around of titles, and Kimberly ended up with BEAD Trends, perfect for the gal who spent the weekend making all of us beautiful Pandora bead bookmarks!

There is one Northridge Publication in each of the swag bags.

……………………. SCRAPERFECT …………………….

ScrapPerfect’s Perfect Crafting Pouch was one of 20 winners of the CHA Innovations Showcase that I attended as a member of the press. I was so impressed by the demos they and their crew shared and I enjoyed wonderful conversation with ScrapPerfect founder, Amy Roszak (right) and her sister, Susan (left– who travels just to be with her sister at shows- I love that!). I came away from CHA sure that the Perfect Crafting Pouch was the one product I’d been looking for all of my crafty-designy life. I use it to keep ink from feathering and bleeding when I write wood or fabric. That’s just ONE of the many uses for these pouches. Although I could try to describe all the other incredible uses, I’ll let Amy show you in this video by Craft Test Dummies:

ScrapPerfect has several products for the crafter. They sent Perfect Crafting Pouches for the retreat scrappers… and for the giveaway bags, they share their Perfect Crafting Pouch Strap n Tap, Perfect Cleaning Cloth and Embellie Gellie. (Please note that ScrapPerfect will be on vacation March 26 – April 3rd.)

Thank you ScrapPerfect!

The Magnet Source makes so many different kinds of magnets, I’ll bet you’ve used some of their magnets for making your own refrigerator magnets or other craft. They create magnets for everything from hardware, home improvement and automotive to craft & hobby, office & school to housewares.

They make these super cool, Super Magnets– neodymium discs. These rare earth magnets combine the powerful strength of neodymium, the strongest permanent magnetic material in the world with peel & stick adhesive backing.

Oooh, I love a super strong magnet! There’s a pack of Adhesive-Backed Super Magnets in every swag bag!

Thank you The Magnet Source!
